Welcome to the City of Jersey City’s Consolidated Affordable Housing Portal. This portal is your tool to search and apply for affordable units that are monitored by the Division of Affordable Housing (DOAH).

The Divison of Affordable Housing (DOAH)'s mission is to enforce the City’s regulations governing municipally mandated affordable units in order to preserve existing units, ensure that the creation of affordable units complies with State and City standards, analyze the City’s overall inventory of affordable housing, and advise City officials on ongoing and future housing policy needs. DOAH was created in October of 2019 as a dedicated office for enforcing affordable housing requirements for new private development. Private developers seeking to build in redevelopment zones or with zoning variances must work with DOAH to create affordable units in accordance with local regulations.
